Special Events

This was taken in the Aquatic Centre in Homebush Bay, Sydney, Australia where the Olympics will be in 2000. This shot is unusual because the venue was actually being used for a formal dinner party for a computer company, It was set up between the 2 pools, it was fully catered with table service and had a band on stage for entertainment. It was taken near the water when it as still as a mirror. I like the way the roof is reflected in the water making it look like a giant clam shell. I also used a cross screen filter on the lens for a bit of extra magic.

This photo was taken from the top diving board of the Aquatic centre where you can see the dining tables and guests and waiters and also the stage for the band in the foreground. This site is going to look a whole lot different in 2000 when the Olympics are on.
